Auntie Union Says - A Labor of Love

Twelve years ago, or maybe more, I was named Texas Postal Worker's Union Auxiliary Member of the Year. I have a little clock to prove it although they never did get around to doing the engraving. Auntie Union was a female satirical version of a male nemesis of my wife, who was a Union President at the time and for a decade after. I considered Auntie a one trick pony and I got tired of the Union and all of the people who were only involved for personal gain. I never made a penny and I worked many hundreds of hours producing over a thousand professional quality newsletters ,of twelve to sixteen pages, for copy machine costs, each month for most of two years. But, I truly was the Texas Postal Worker's Union Auxiliary Member of the Year, that year, and I'm still damn proud of it and now Auntie Union lives on.
